Imagine stepping into a world filled with rainbows everywhere, the result of perfect lighting streaming through the windows. This was the beautiful setting of Dan and Helen’s romantic old Hollywood wedding that I had the pleasure of shooting at the stunning Rhodes Hall in Atlanta, GA. What an absolute delight it was! The day was filled with unique and beautiful moments making this day extra special. One of my favorite parts was Helen’s first look with her parents. The raw emotion captured in that moment was amazing!
Dan & Helen’s Romantic Old Hollywood Wedding Day
Their ceremony was filled with surprises. They shared a kiss to pass under the “arch of sabers,” a traditional exit. This was such a unique and heartwarming moment, and it definitely made for some incredible photos! But the surprises didn’t stop there. Helen had a special surprise for Dan. She presented him with an e-foil cake topper, highlighting Dan’s love for surfing. And guess what? This design was custom-printed on the back of his shirt! Talk about personal touches!
The cake-cutting was another highlight of the day. Yes, you guessed it right – they cut the cake with a saber! It was a sight to behold and made for some unforgettable photos. The guests dressed in old Hollywood style. This added an extra layer of glamour to the entire event. The vintage look, combined with the modern twists, created a uniquely charming atmosphere that was a joy to capture. As the night fell, the celebrations continued. The guests partied the night away to the tunes of a live band.
