Emily and Russell’s wedding at the charming countryside venue, The Portico in Good Hope, Georgia, was truly a heartfelt celebration. They said I do surrounded by their closest friends and family, along with their beloved dogs.

A laid back and intimate countryside wedding

Emily and Russell’s wedding was all about laid-back vibes and good times. The girls gathered in the farmhouse, doing their own hair and makeup, chatting and laughing as they got ready together.

Meanwhile, the groom and his friends were in the library, excited for the day, listening to records, and drinking beer.

After a heartfelt church ceremony, that Emily’s dad officiated, the newlyweds hosted a cozy reception filled with cocktails and music. One of the most sentimental parts of their day was leaving the reception in their classic station wagon. This car, had been part of their proposal and engagement photos. Once again, it played a meaningful role as they drove away to take their portraits.

Capturing Memories at Their Secluded Cabin

Later in the day, we took the most dreamy and intimate photos of Emily and Russell at their cabin. The couple took a quiet moment together, sharing whiskey shots and reflecting on the joy of the day.

An Intimate Family Dinner to End the Night

The evening concluded with a warm and intimate dinner with their family. It was the perfect way to end a day full of sentimental touches, laughter, and love.
